BringMeThat at Paradoxos 2013

Paradoxos

BringMeThat CEO Jason Liang presented our company’s pitch to investors today at the 2013 Paradoxos in Durham, NC. Paradoxos is a two-day festival — loosely fashioned after events like TED and SXSW — that showcases local startups and features talks by innovators in the tech and entrepreneurial worlds. Paradoxos is billed as “a two-day festival celebrating the power of ideas, collaboration, and what’s to come.” It’s not all business, though; the festival also includes block parties with local beer and food trucks.

Notable speakers include Paul Singh (500 Startups, Dashboard.io), Scott Case (Startup America), John Biggs (TechCrunch) and Chris Heivly (Triangle Startup Factory).

What people are saying:

Liang spoke to the investor crowd about BringMeThat’s online food delivery service. With BringMeThat, users simply enter their address to begin browsing restaurants that deliver to them. Orders can then be placed entirely online. BringMeThat hopes to serve small and medium-sized cities and rural areas across the country and so far has 5,000 restaurant listings across OH, NC and PA.

If you’re in the Triangle, check out Paradoxos (#pdxs2013). The festival will run through Friday, June 7 in downtown Durham.
