Triangle Restaurant Week: 6/3 – 6/9

It’s one of the most delicious times of the year if you’re in the NC Piedmont. Triangle Restaurant Week starts today, June 3, and runs through this Sunday, June 9. Have a taste.

What is Triangle Restaurant Week?

TRW is a weeklong celebration of local food and local restaurants. According to the official website, “During TRW, participating restaurants offer special three-course menu options and fixed pricing, a great opportunity for residents and visitors alike to indulge in the area’s finest cuisine! No reservations, tickets or passes required.”

How much does it cost?

Customers can order a 3-course lunch for $15 and a 3-course dinner for $20-30 (depending on the restaurant) from a special fixed-price menu. (Price does not include tax and tip).

What restaurants are participating?

Eighty-five restaurants in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and the surrounding areas. There’s a tremendous variety of options, from cafes to quick lunch spots to high-end steakhouses. Some notable participating restaurants include: Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Rey’s, RaagaTallulas, Kipos, Guglhupf, Mateo Tapas, Mount Fuji, Irregardless Cafe, Black Cat, The Pit Authentic BBQ.   1. Nice post here that helped us discover “Bring Me That”. Raleigh has the most participants, followed by Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary and last Apex, with only one participant. As a restaurant in the surrounding area of the Triangle, we’ll be finding out if it makes sense for restaurants in outlying areas like Carrboro and Pittsboro to see about participating. Our part of the state sure is happening – and the American Tobacco Campus is one of the highlights.
