At BringMeThat we provide a service to allow people to quickly and easily order food online and have their meal delivered immediately to their door. Those of you who live in big cities may already have something that’s similar to this but BringMeThat’s goal is to bring online food delivery to all cities, small or large. We do this by acquiring restaurant menus through a variety of data sources, enabling us to have the most complete coverage of online delivery menus in a certain area.
I came up with this idea several months ago when I came home to visit my family in Strongsville, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, and wanted to order in pizza on a Sunday afternoon. I’ve lived in New York for several years and frequently order food online from SeamlessWeb, but in Ohio not only could I not find places to order from online, I couldn’t even find a site that listed which restaurants would deliver to me. Sundays typically consist of me sitting on the couch, watching football, eating, turning off my brain, and moving a total of less than 10 feet throughout the entire day, so having to do like 30 Google searches just to find a subset of places that would deliver to me was excruciatingly painful and a severe impedance for my ideal Sunday afternoon.
That was when I decided to create a site where people could order food delivery with just a couple of clicks from their laptop or ipad wherever they were, and BringMeThat was born. Our site launched in January 2013 in Cuyahoga County and we hope to have complete coverage for the entire state of Ohio within few weeks. I hope that you find this useful and if you have any questions or comments feel free to reach out to us at any time!
